Christmas Crunch Cake Recipe

This is one of the most unique cakes I have ever made. The word crunch is not something you normally hear when referring to a cake but don’t let that stop you from trying it!

From the creamy  smooth filling, to the crunchy sweet crust and topping, it is like a Christmas party on your plate!

How to do it

This recipe is so easy, and only consists of a few ingredients. The first thing you want to accomplish is crushing granola bars and adding melted butter and sugar. Mix well and set aside.

Then you want to grab a pan, or even a pie dish, and put half of your granola mixture into the bottom of the pan, pressing firmly.

Next, we will begin on our filling. For the filling you need your whip cream, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, almond extract and rum. Mix, and fold in sprinkles.

Finally you will spread the mixture over your crust, top with the rest of the granola, and freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.

  • 16 Nature Valley™ crunchy granola bars Oats ‘n Honey, crushed
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • cup sugar
  • 2(8 oz.) blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1(14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1(8 oz.) container extra creamy whipped topping
  • ½ teaspoon pure almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon spiced rum or vanilla
  • cup Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors nonpareils (red, white and green)
  • Nonstick baking spray
