The Archway Academy is open to kids ages 4-12. They offer themed activities and various tracks, including cooking, sports, and science, to suit kids’ interests. Weekly field trips, games, competitions, and water days add excitement for the campers. Your child will be busy all summer long.

Pinewood Summer Camp: Grades PreK-5

Pinewood Preparatory Academy offers all-around summer day camps for kids who are and are not registered students of Pinewood Prep. They have three different explorations each week to keep kids engaged. Swimming lessons are available three times per week as well.

Rollins Edwards Community Center Sports Camps

The Rollins Edwards Community Center offers a wide variety of kids camps for the summer. Most of the camps are half days and serve a variety of age groups. The Community Center offers camps in the morning and evening.

For kids looking for a summer full of one sport, the Community Center offers a tennis camp. There are six sessions taking place Monday – Thursday from 8:30-11:30 am. Players ages 8-15 with beginner-level experience and up are welcome. In addition to tennis skills, campers will enjoy fire truck cool-offs and ice cream on Thursdays.

Legend Oaks Sports Camp

Legend Oaks Golf and Tennis Club offers seven weeks of Summer Sports Camp for children ages 6-16 beginning in June. Membership in the club is not required, but discounts are offered for the children of members. Camp sessions run from Monday -Thursday of each week from 9 am to 2 pm. Each day includes professional instruction in tennis and golf, lunch, and supervised swimming time. Legend Oaks recommends that campers bring their own equipment for golf and tennis, although some if available to use if needed.

Pinewood Preparatory School Sports Camps

Flag Football – Grades 3-8

Pinewood Preparatory School is offering four sports camps for 2021. Participants do not have to be students of Pinewood Prep to participate. Flag Football Youth Camp is offered in two sessions, June 14-17 and July 12-15, from 9 am-11:30 pm. Boys and Girls entering grades 3-8 are welcome to attend.

School Sports Camp

Girls’ Lacrosse – Grades 4-8

The Lacrosse camp for girls entering grades 4-8 meets mornings from June 21-24.

Basketball – Grades 4-8

Pinewood’s Basketball Camp will be held mornings 8:30 am – 12 pm from June 21-23. Students entering grades 4-8 are encouraged to attend.

National Karate MMA – Summerville

National Karate / MMA offers Summer Camps for all school-age students. They begin the Monday after school ends for the summer and continue through the Friday before school starts. Daily times are 7 am-6 pm, so your student will have a full day of exercise, education, and entertainment.

National Karate will teach martial arts to the campers, but they also do field trips, guest speakers, and even cookouts. Martial arts training strengthens children’s focus and discipline as well as their bodies. If this is for your family, and you don’t want to wait for summer, they offer after-school programs.
